Cosmo Cat is often noted for a dark undercurrent to the light humor, with enemies often dying - sometimes by suicide, either intentional or otherwise. (see right)
Oddly enough, he also had a Suicide Detector to alert him when others were contemplating the end.
Cosmo Cat was also published in the UK by K.G. Murray in the 1940s.
